For years, the lack of one-click WordPress theme updates has been a hurdle for our users and us. Since transitioning our order and billing system in 2016 / 2017, manual updates were the only option available. Automatic updates had to be completely rebuilt to integrate with our new systems, and for a long time, it seemed impossible. That was until 2024, when we finally found a way. We began building this and finalized it in March 2025.
And today, we’re thrilled to announce that you can now update your theme directly from within WordPress! This long-awaited feature has been introduced across all 18 of our modern WordPress themes, ensuring a smoother, more efficient process for everyone.
How It Works
Getting started is simple. First, download and install the latest update for your theme. Then, follow our step-by-step guide to enable one-click updates. For your security, this process requires signing in to your account with us directly from WordPress—no extra hassle, just seamless integration. What Else is New in the Updates?
In addition to one-click updates, we’ve introduced several enhancements to make your experience even better:
- All themes are now compatible with PHP 8.3 and PHP 8.4.
- Most themes have received bug fixes and exciting new features.
- Even our retired theme, Foundation, has been updated due to its continued popularity.
- That’s not all! Widgets are now fully compatible with the Block-based Widgets Editor, meaning you can preview them in Appearance > Widgets or Customize > Widgets.
